My name is Scott Krivitsky and I have been an educator and community educational liaison in Coney Island for over 20 years.

One of my notable achievements was being awarded Teacher of the Year for my pioneering work in developing the first Lego Robotics Program for elementary school students. By embracing innovative teaching methods, I have engaged my students and nurtured their creativity and problem-solving skills.

Furthermore, my passion for education extended beyond my classroom walls. I played a pivotal role in the development of the Brooklyn Marine STEAM Educational Alliance, which aimed to connect students of all ages through a shared interest in Marine Science. This alliance bridged the gap between elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, and college students, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing among them.

After retiring from his full-time teaching position four years ago, I decided to continue making a difference in the lives of students within his community. My passion for empowering young individuals remains as strong as ever. Despite no longer being in the traditional classroom setting, I continue to find ways to contribute my knowledge and expertise to enhance educational opportunities for students throughout the community.

I am known for my gentle, patient, and friendly demeanor. I possess a natural ability to connect with both students and colleagues, allowing me to create a comfortable and inclusive learning environment.

Through my continued dedication and unwavering belief in the potential of every student, I will continue to inspire and uplift countless lives in the years to come. In addition to my previous achievements, I have played a crucial role in the establishment of the Brooklyn Mobile Tech Coalition. This initiative aimed to equip students with essential tech skills by teaching them how to fly drones, coding, and virtual reality equipment.

Building on my success with the Brooklyn Mobile Tech Coalition, I have now set my sights on a new endeavor—the National Healthcare Careers Alliance. Recognizing the growing demand for healthcare professionals and the need to guide high school students toward careers in this field, I seek to provide valuable guidance and resources to students interested in pursuing a career in healthcare.

The objective of the National Healthcare Careers Alliance is to assist high school students in exploring and understanding the various career paths available within the healthcare industry. By offering mentorship, informational sessions, and opportunities for hands-on experience, I aim to empower young individuals with the knowledge and support they need to make informed decisions about their future.
